“Volunteer Workshop: Dressage Shows & Cross-Country Fence Judging”
April 14, 2012- 10am to 2pm

Volunteers are the backbone of dressage shows!  This year, thanks to a New England Dressage Association (NEDA) led effort, in conjunction with GMHA and the Central Vermont Dressage Association (CVDA), we are offering a workshop for potential volunteers to receive training. The goal is to take sport of dressage to a higher level by training scribes, stewards, scorers, and potential show secretaries.  The workshop will also include the fence judging aspect of eventing for those who are interested.

The workshop is open to those interested in volunteering or learning about dressage shows and/or cross-country fence judging- no experience necessary!  Schedule includes sessions on ring stewarding and scribing, lunch, and a choice of fence judging OR dressage scoring and secretarial information.  There is no charge to attend, and lunch will be provided by NEDA.

RSVP’s are mandatory for all sessions, please visit our website (www.gmhainc.org) to download the RSVP form.  For more details on these sessions or any other GMHA activities, please visit our website or contact the office at (802) 457 1509.  We hope to see many of you there!
